Position Overview

Sutter SeniorCare PACE is seeking a BE/BC Geriatric Medicine / Internal Medicine / Family Medicine physician to join our clinical team in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

The PACE Physician is responsible for providing medical oversight and clinical leadership for the care of elderly patients within our program in Sacramento. This role combines clinical expertise and compassion to ensure high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance, community involvement, and effective departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with active board certification in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• State medical license and eligibility for medical practice in California
• Proven experience as a practicing physician specializing in care for elderly patients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered care and quality improvement
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and healthcare standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
