The position involves outpatient responsibilities Monday through Friday, with a child outpatient psychiatrist role that includes a weekend call rotation (1:6 schedule, with rounding during the day and phone availability in the evenings). The daily patient census ranges from 25 to 35, split between 2 physicians. There are also teaching opportunities with the psychiatric residency program, and future residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.
