Job summary

AdventHealth Primary Care Network in Tampa, FL seeks a Family or Internal Medicine physician to join our team. We provide patient-centered care across all ages with a focus on preventive and chronic disease management in a supportive, collaborative environment.

We offer a flexible 4- or 5-day schedule with no weekend hours, 20–22 patients per day, 4 hours of admin time weekly, and strong benefits from day one. Florida licensure or active license required, board certification preferred.

• Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates considered if certification can be obtained before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care from pediatric to geriatric patients, including women’s health.
• Deliver independent and collaborative management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Monitor treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and care teams to ensure high-quality care.

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to pediatric through geriatric patients, including women’s health
• Deliver independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging
• Monitor treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
• Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates will be considered if certification can be obtained before hire
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
• Comfortable with minor office-based procedures
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain before hire
• DEA license or ability to obtain before hire
• BLS required; ACLS (preferred)
