At NorthBay Health the Board Certified, Licensed Primary Care Physician will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. This position is a Full Time Float FM/IM Physician to support our growth, expansion and coverage in Primary Care throughout the region.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Full time float, Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, Napa or as needed throughout region
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
• Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
• Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day
• Equipment/Resources: Access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment and comprehensive resources
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Primary Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
• Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
• Monitor lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
• Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary
• Represent the practice at hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group
• Collaborate and manage APPs
