Job summary

VHC Health is seeking Primary Care Physicians to join our expanding teams in Northern Virginia. This full-time role offers a collaborative clinical environment and patient-centered care across multiple open locations.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified or eligible in Family or Internal Medicine, with an MD/DO and Virginia license (or ability to obtain). EPIC EMR experience is a plus as we provide extensive support.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO and Virginia license or ability to obtain one.
  • Residency completed in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Perform routine physical exams, preventive health screenings, and wellness checks.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and provide health education to patients.

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physicians to join our growing teams across Northern Virginia. We currently have several full-time openings and are looking for clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform routine physical exams, preventive health screenings, and wellness checks
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and provide health education to patients
  • Collaborate with specialists and coordinate patient care when needed

Minimum Requirements

Compensation Range: $250,000.00 - $552,240.00

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the health system’s credentialing and privileging committee.

The Physician supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level.Supports all medical activities at the individual level including implementation of quality control standards, risk management and compliance programs.The role of a physician is to provide quality clinical care to those individuals who have chosen VHC Health in a timely manner to meet the needs of our patients.

Education:

Doctorate from accredited medical school is required.

Experience:

One year of medical/surgical experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure:

Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
