Job summary

HarmonyCares seeks a Medical Pod Leader to oversee clinical performance and patient care within the pod team. You will supervise APPs and collaborating physicians, coordinate with the regional market office, and drive high-quality, safe patient care in a home-based primary care setting.

You will lead clinical education, participate in performance reviews, and ensure compliance with state regulations while advancing evidence-based care and care coordination across the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MD or DO with board certification as applicable.
• Active CPR certification and DEA.
• Unrestricted medical license.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site supervising physician for APPs and collaborating physicians; ensure regulatory compliance within state guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical team members and APPs to improve patient care quality and safety.
• Lead clinical education on accurate diagnosis, documentation, and chronic disease management.
• Routinely review quality metrics and pod performance; identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with Market Manager and market office staff to optimize pod operations.
