Job summary

Sanford Health’s Sanford Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon to join a practice of 4 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. The role focuses on reconstructive and cosmetic procedures across a broad spectrum, with trauma call obligations and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate has experience in microsurgery and complex facial or reconstructive work, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained plastic surgeon or extensive experience in reconstructive techniques.
• Experience or training in microsurgery is preferred.
• Trauma call obligation is 3–4 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, cancer and trauma reconstruction.
• Conduct microvascular and complex reconstructions as needed.
• Address body contouring, abdominoplasty, liposuction, lifting procedures, and facial reconstructions.
• Contribute to Mohs reconstruction and maxillofacial trauma care as applicable.
• Provide wound care and participate in related multidisciplinary care.

Practice Details

Sanford Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a fellowship trained, or experienced, Plastic Surgeon to join its current practice of 4 physicians and 4 APP's.

• Clinic practice includes a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, consisting of breast reconstruction, cancer and trauma reconstruction, (some microvascular), body contouring, breast reduction, augmentation, and lift, abdominoplasty, liposuction, facelift, blepharoplasty, brow lift, Mohs reconstruction, wound care, and maxillofacial trauma

• Clinic, hospital, and Vivaz Medical Spa offer state-of-the-art facilities and advanced equipment

• Ideal candidate may have experience/training in microsurgery, complex reconstruction, and facial reconstruction

• Trauma call obligation is 3-4 days per month
