Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) staff physicians provide physiatry services to eligible Veterans at the VA Portland Health Care System, including the main Portland Campus, Vancouver campus, and other CBOCs as designated.
To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements and any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending completion of training or license requirements may be tentatively selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are met. Current VA-employed physicians who met the initial appointment requirements are deemed to have met the basic requirements.
1 year experience performing EMGs and interest or experience in inpatient rehab at a CARF-accredited unit.
Moderate lifting and carrying, pushing, reaching, use of fingers, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, operation of vehicles, visual and auditory capabilities, mental and emotional stability, peripheral vision, environmental factors, and working conditions as detailed above.
