Job summary

Our MFM team typically operates on a 4-day work week with weekend rounding shared among providers. WA licensure, US residency, and fellowship completed are required or in progress; DEA/NPI/prescriptive authority and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Fellowship in maternal fetal medicine completed or in process with board eligibility.
  • Completed US residency in obstetrics/gynecology or maternal-fetal medicine.
  • Board certification or eligibility in MFM at time of employment.
  • State medical license in WA by time of employment.
  • DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority required.
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient maternal-fetal medicine consultations.
  • Participate in 4-day work week with shared weekend rounding responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with MFM physicians, ARNPs, genetic counselors and sonographers.
  • Utilize antenatal testing and diagnostic units with remote ultrasound and telemedicine services.
  • Deliver patient-centered care and coordinate with the care team for optimal outcomes.

Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an energetic BE/BC MFM to join our established and rapidly growing practice. The care team currently includes MFM physicians and ARNPs, as well as certified genetic counselors and sonographers. MFM physicians typically work a 4-day work week, share weekend rounding responsibilities for the MFM service, and provide inpatient and outpatient consultations with no in-house call. Our fully equipped antenatal testing and diagnostic units are AIUM-accredited and employ the most up-to-date technology for remote ultrasound coverage and telemedicine services. Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $300.00 - $300.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
