Job summary

Banner Children's Specialists (BCS) is seeking a Pediatric Nocturnist to provide inpatient care for pediatric patients and newborns at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. The 1.0 FTE role offers night coverage from 7pm to 7am with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, designed to support work-life balance.

Candidates should have Pediatric Residency completion, be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics, and hold Arizona license and DEA (or be able to obtain).

Qualifications

• Pediatric Residency completion.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics.
• Arizona license and DEA (or ability to obtain).
• Board certification in pediatric hospital medicine is not required. New residency graduates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric inpatients and newborns at a community-based hospital with robust specialist support.
• Provide inpatient medical care during night shifts (7pm–7am).
• Participate in a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule to support work-life balance.
• Work within Banner Children's Specialists team at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale.

Banner Children's Specialists (BCS) is seeking a Pediatric Nocturnist to provide inpatient care for children and newborns at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ.

Position Overview:

• 1.0 FTE
• Care for pediatric inpatients and newborns at a community-based hospital with robust specialist support.
• Night shift is 7pm-7am. Scheduling is 7 days on, 7 days off to foster work life balance.
• Competitive base salary with wRVU productivity incentives and night shift differential.
