Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pediatrician to join the Elkhorn Pediatrics team in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform history intake, physical exams, immunizations, and well-child care, while managing ADHD and common pediatric conditions.

The position offers a base salary of $230,000 with a $30,000 starting bonus and relocation assistance up to $20,000. Expect a 4-day clinic week and participation in on-call duties. Benefits include CME allowance and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in Pediatrics.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one.
• NRP certification must be obtained and maintained.
• Credentialing process must be completed successfully.
• Experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Take medical history and perform physician examinations.
• Conduct sports physicals and ADHD/ADD management.
• Perform circumcisions and well-child care including immunizations.
• Treat pediatric injuries and illnesses, monitor chronic diseases.
• Provide high-quality patient experiences and coordinate care.

About this role

As an Intermountain Health Pediatrician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sports physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.

Annual Base Salary of $230,000.00 / Year with Productivity in addition to the Base

This position includes a starting bonus of $30,000.00 and up to $20,000.00 for relocation for eligible household moves

You will practice at Elkhorn Clinic - Pediatrics in Las Vegas, NV

Your weekly schedule will be 4 clinic days with reasonable patient volume and a built-in referral system

On-call duties: rotating weekend, nursery hospital call, and holidays shared equally by physicians. After hours nursing phone support for patients reducing calls to providers

What you'll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Pediatrics
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained and maintained
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
• Experience Preferred. New Grads will be considered
