Essentia Health is seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their busy practice in Duluth, MN. The role offers a strong partnership with a dedicated pediatric team and a unique opportunity to engage in sleep medicine, potentially in a virtual setting.

Utilizing state-of-the-art facilities, including a 5 bed PICU and a 20-bed Level III NICU, this position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, as well as opportunities for teaching.

Compensation starts at $285,051 with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Primary focus in Pediatric Pulmonology with a strong partnership with the pediatric team.
• Capability to provide virtual sleep medicine services.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric patients.
• Participate in the established active bronchoscopy program.
• Opportunities to teach medical students and resident physicians.

Skills

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology

Seeking one Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a busy practice.

Practice Specifics

• Strong partnership with pediatric team and established referral base as the region's only multispecialty pediatric practice.
• Strong support from adult sleep program.
• Potential for large component of sleep medicine practice to be virtual.
• 5 bed PICU, 14 bed General Pediatric Unit, 20‑bed LevelIII NICU, LevelII Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Broad range of pediatric subspecialists on staff.
• Practice provides a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and procedural roles.
• Established active bronchoscopy program.
• Opportunities for teaching medical students and resident physicians.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Sleep Medicine Fellowship preferred.

Location

Duluth, MN – a harbor city located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, 150 miles north of the Twin Cities.

Compensation

Compensation: $285,051 (1.0FTE). Additional compensation may be eligible.
