Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks a Pediatric Endocrinologist for a 1.0 FTE outpatient role. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with some outreach and telehealth opportunities. You’ll join a team of 1 Pediatric and 3 Adult Endocrinologists, plus a robust support staff.

Patients are treated within a connected campus with strong inpatient support; call coverage is shared with a partner and inpatient care is covered by hospitalists, NP’s and PA’s.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primarily outpatient pediatric endocrine care, Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Collaborate with a team of endocrinology and pediatrics specialists and support staff.
• Participate in outreach activities and telehealth visits as needed.

Pediatric Endocrinologist - 1.0 FTE

Duluth, MN

• Primarily outpatient practice, Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.; Some outreach possible, including telehealth outreach
• You would be joining a team of 1 Pediatric and 3 Adult Endocrinologists, 9 APC’s and a robust support team including CDCES RNs & RDs
• Patients are admitted to St. Mary's Medical Center a 344-bed tertiary care hospital; Level II Pediatric Trauma Center or Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus.
• Great support from Endocrinology and Pediatrics!
• Call: shared with Pediatric Endocrinologist partner and coverage provided for time away. Inpatient diabetic care covered by full-spectrum Hospitalists, Pediatric Intensivists, NP’s, PA’s.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Compensation

$256,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
