Job description

Position

Corewell Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic pediatric hospitalist (Full‑time, 1.0 FTE) to join our team.

Scope of Practice

Provides comprehensive care for well newborns and infants in the nursery, including management of hypoglycemia, mild respiratory distress/hypoxia, intensive phototherapy, and infection work‑ups. Also cares for patients aged 12 years and older admitted to the hospital, attends deliveries, performs neonatal resuscitation, and occasionally consults in the emergency department. The physician works in rotation with in‑house coverage 24/7.

Work Schedule

• 14 shifts per month (12 hours each) including day and night shifts to provide continuous coverage.
• No outpatient work.
• Opportunities to work additional shifts for extra income.
