Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to provide in-house coverage around the clock, 14 shifts per month of 12 hours each. The role includes birth attendance, neonatal resuscitation, and care for well newborns and children up to age 12 admitted to the hospital.

Qualifications

• Be/BC Pediatrics required.
• Unrestricted Michigan MD/DO license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 in-house pediatric hospitalist coverage.
• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed.
• Manage care for well newborns, nursery patients and admitted patients up to age 12.
• Participate in quality improvement, protocols, and education.
