ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist in Toledo, Ohio. The role emphasizes inpatient and observation coverage with 12-hour shifts and weekend/holiday requirements.

The main admitting service spans NICU and PICU on campus with 24/7 coverage; teaching opportunities exist with the University of Toledo Medical School and Pediatric residency program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active medical license in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics.
• Current AHA certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) as applicable.
• Commitment to CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour inpatient or observation coverage as main admitting service.
• Collaborate with University of Toledo Medical School and pediatric residency program for teaching.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Focus on preventive care and patient education across pediatric specialties.

Opportunity Highlights: Group currently consists of 11 physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers 12-hour shifts- 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM- 6:00 AM Weekends and holidays required 100% Inpatient or observation Main Admitting service for most specialties Level 1 nursery-no deliveries, no circumcisions NICU on campus with 24/7 coverage PICU on campus with 24/7 coverage Jointly collaboration with the University of Toledo Medical School and the University of Toledo Pediatric residency program-many opportunities for teaching Opportunity to participate in various hospital committees and work closely with ancillary staff for quality improvement initiatives With a focus on preventive care and patient education, across a wide range of medical specialties, PPG helps individuals maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
