Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Payroll and Finance Analyst to manage monthly and semi-monthly payroll for physicians, clinicians, and staff. You will support provider compensation analysis and productivity reporting to ensure compliance with agreements and policies.

Responsibilities include processing timecards, deductions, year-end activities, and developing reports for senior leadership. A bachelor’s in accounting/finance and healthcare payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years payroll, accounting, or financial analyst experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; or 4 years relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with ADP or other third-party payroll services and with accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Manage and calculate complex compensation pools and process payroll including timecards and deductions.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare provider compensation and productivity reports; support leadership decisions.
• Audit and Compliance: Ensure payroll data aligns with contracts, policies, and labor laws.
• Collaboration: Communicate with Finance, HR, and leadership; provide professional service.
• Financial Operations Support: Assist with accounts payable, deposits, and accounting records in QuickBooks.
