Eligible candidates must be board certified in either Anatomic Pathology or Clinical Pathology and have five years of prior clinical experience. Prior clinical administrative experience is preferred.
The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System in Cleveland, OH is seeking one full-time MD/DO Service Chief to supervise the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The Chief, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (PALMS) at VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS), provides leadership and oversight for clinical and administrative operations across all PALMS programs, providers, and sites of care. The incumbent is a Board-Certified Physician responsible for and providing operational and supervisory oversight for over a large interprofessional service of over 120 clinical and administrative personnel across eighteen sites of care in northeast Ohio. The Service Chief collaborates with the Laboratory Manager, Administrative Officer, and technologists to oversee clinical and administrative functions, and with outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center to ensure coordinated care.
