WVU Medicine - United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV invites a pathologist to join a well-established hospital-based practice. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills and be eligible for state medical licensure.

The role involves gross supervision, frozen sections, and a range of surgical and cytology cases, with opportunities for collaboration across pathology subspecialties within a comprehensive WVU Medicine system.

Formación

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed accredited residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Board certified or eligible in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a team environment with responsibilities in gross supervision and frozen sections.
• Handle surgical cases including core, needle, GI and bronchoscopic biopsies.
• Perform cytology, hematopathology, chemical pathology, and blood banking.
