A leading health care provider in West Virginia is looking for a Palliative Care/Critical Care Physician to establish and lead a groundbreaking Palliative and Hospice Utilization Program. You will be responsible for developing a sustainable program infrastructure and expanding outpatient services. The ideal candidate will meet the necessary medical qualifications, possess experience in program leadership, and have a board certification in Critical Care or Palliative Medicine. Qualifications

• Must be eligible for a state medical license in West Virginia.
• Previous experience in developing and leading programs.
• Geriatrics-trained physician is a plus.
• All qualifications must be met by appointment.

Palliative Care/Critical Care Physician – Wheeling, WV

WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Palliative Care/Critical Care Physician to practice in Wheeling, WV. The successful candidate will develop and lead a Palliative and Hospice Utilization Program from the ground up, building a robust, sustainable program with opportunities for outpatient expansion.

• Practice in the area of Palliative Care.
• Develop, lead, and grow the Palliative and Hospice Utilization Program.
• Build and maintain sustainable program infrastructure.
• Expand outpatient services.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency and fellowship in Critical Care or Palliative Care.
• Board certified or eligible in Critical Care or Palliative Medicine.
• All qualifications must be met by appointment.
• Geriatrics-trained physician is a plus!
