Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME, is seeking a BC/BE General Otolaryngologist to join our hospital-employed, salaried ENT practice. This is a strong team with a regional referral base of 500,000+ patients and is the region’s only tertiary care and Level II Trauma center.

The role provides a stable base with additional compensation based on productivity, opportunities to develop subspecialty interests, and a collaborative environment with plastics and neurosurgery.

Qualifications

• BC/BE General Otolaryngologist with board certification/eligibility.
• Experience in general ENT with potential subspecialty interest.
• Strong collaboration with surgical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide general adult and pediatric ENT services, with opportunity to develop subspecialty niche.
• Collaborate with plastics and neurosurgery (skull base) and other surgical teams.
• Maintain a high-volume clinic with balanced OR time and call schedule.
• Join a well-established hospital-based practice with minimal admin duties.

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is actively seeking aBC/BE General Otolaryngologist to join our community hospital-employed, salaried, general/subspeciality ENT practice. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a strong team with multiple interests. With a strong regional referral base of 500,000+ patients, this is a great chance to develop your skills at the region’s only tertiary care and Level II Trauma center.

• Provide general adult and pediatric ENT services, with opportunity to develop sub-specialty niche, if desired.
• Current practice includes Otolaryngologists of general and sub-specialty background, and 5 Physician Associates
• Opportunity to collaborate with other surgical specialties, including plastics and neurosurgery (including skull base)
• Flexible schedules and exceptional work/life balance
• 1:5 call rotation
• Average of 18 office patients per clinic day; 1-2 days in OR per week
• Well-established hospital-based practice with no administrative duties or capital investment requirements

Compensation Information:

• $500,000 - $535,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc
