Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME is seeking a BC/BE Otolaryngologist with Head and Neck Oncology sub-specialization to join our hospital-employed ENT team. This role offers a strong referral base and collaboration with plastics, neurosurgery, and the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute.

Enjoy a flexible schedule, 1:5 call rotation, and 18 patients per clinic day with 1-2 days in the OR weekly. Base salary ranges from $500,000 to $535,000 with potential productivity bonuses.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Otolaryngologist with Head and Neck Oncology sub-specialization is required.
• Provide head and neck oncologic surgical care within a hospital-employed ENT practice.
• Must cover general adult and pediatric ENT call and clinic patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Head and Neck oncologic surgical care alongside the existing ENT team.
• Cover general adult and pediatric ENT call and clinic patients as needed.
• Collaborate with plastics and neurosurgery (including skull base).
• Tailor extent of extirpative/reconstructive services in a flexible practice development.

Head and Neck Otolaryngologist Opportunity in Beautiful New England – 4 Day Work Week – No Facial Trauma Call

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Centeris actively seeking a BC/BE Otolaryngologist with Head and Neck Oncology sub-specialization to join our hospital-employed, salaried, general/subspeciality ENT practice. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a strong team with multiple interests. With a strong regional referral base of 500,000+ patients, this is a great chance to develop your skills at the region’s only tertiary care and Level II Trauma center.

• Provide Head and Neck surgical oncologic care alongside existing team of generalists and Head & Neck providers
• Must be able to cover general adult and pediatric ENT call and clinic patients as needed
• Current practice includes Otolaryngologists of general and sub-specialty background, and 5 Physician Associates
• Opportunity to collaborate with other surgical specialties, including plastics and neurosurgery (including skull base).
• Flexible practice development (with opportunity to tailor extent of extirpative/reconstructive services provided)
• Close partnership with the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute (one of only two cancer centers in Maine part of a formal collaboration with Dana Farber Cancer Centre). Cancer center provides genetic testing/counselling services, facilitates tumor boards, and provides additional support services including nutrition, social work, and a dedicated Head & Neck nurse navigator
• Flexible schedules and exceptional work/life balance

• Well-established hospital-based practice with no administrative duties or capital investment requirements
• $500,000-$535,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc
