Cynet Health is seeking a Physician Optometrist to join our expanding ophthalmology department in Louisiana. This clinic-based role emphasizes primary eye care within an integrated practice and strong internal referrals.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends or on-call shifts. Board-certified optometrists with a valid license and fellowship training are preferred; candidates should be prepared for credentialing roughly 120 days.

Description:The department is opening a new location.We are looking for coverage until fully staffed.Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.No weekends and no call required.The position involves seeing an average of 20 patients per day.Emphasis is placed on primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, Section of Optometry.The position is clinic-based and follows an integrated practice model.There is a strong internal referral network available.The position includes a close working relationship with ophthalmologists.Support is available from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the health system.Full enrollment during credentialing is required.The facility does require that physicians be board certified.Estimated credentialing timeframe is 120 days.Fellowship training is required.The facility trauma level is 0.Pediatric level of care is also rated 0.
