Job Overview

Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist - Retina Specialist to join a well‑established practice with more than 20 multi‑specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists. The associate will acquire an existing robust practice in their specialty. Opportunities for both new graduates and experienced physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive retinal care, including diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases.
• Perform retinal surgeries and procedures.
• Mentor and teach within the growing residency program.
• Participate in teaching, research, and optimization of patient access.
• Assist with electronic health record (Epic) documentation.
• Maintain caseload and adhere to quality and productivity measures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology/Retina.
• Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• Medical school loan repayment program eligibility.
• Strong patient care, procedural skills, professional etiquette, and systems‑based practice experience.
