Geisinger Eye Institute has an opening for a retina surgeon to join their well-established practice with multi‑specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center. A truly great opportunity to join the ever‑growing Geisinger system. Job Duties

Our practice:

• Growing ophthalmology residency at Geisinger gives great opportunity to mentor and teach
• Highly trained and experienced support and medical staff
• Extensive diagnosis/treatment tools including OCT/OCAT/fluorescein and ICG angiography, wide‑field imaging, echography, and photodynamic therapy
• Geisinger owned surgical facilities – on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center
• Support from Advance Practitioners
• Clinics have over 50 exam rooms
• Shared call (home call)
• A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices
