Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Physician to provide direct patient care at our onsite Occupational Medicine practice. The role focuses on work-related injuries, employment physicals, and wellness initiatives, with DOT certification provided and a 4x10 schedule.

The ideal candidate has Occupation Medicine or Urgent Care experience, a valid medical license, and the ability to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred.
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care and creating an exceptional patient experience.
• Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
• Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes of Advanced Primary Care.
• Complies with APC supervisory requirements.
• Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, documentation, and follow-through on orders.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal practice acts/regulations/WC regulations.
• Drives patient and client experience metrics.
• Actively participates in meetings with the client where applicable.
• Fosters collaboration, professionalism, safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.

Job description

Schedule: 4x10 shifts per week, consistent day off, occasional Saturday required

Salary Range: $250K - $270K + multiple paid holidays

We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Physician to provide direct patient care at our client's onsite Occupational Medicine practice.

Scope of care includes Occupational Medicine (work-related injuries, follow-up care, employment physicals, and testing) and wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine. Will require DOT certification (provided). Perks include a 4x10 schedule and most federal holidays paid (not worked).

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $250,000 - $270,000 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.

• Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes of Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction of Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.
• Complies with APC supervisory requirements
• Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and follow-through on all patient care orders
• Ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations
• Drives patient and client experience metrics.
• Actively participates in meetings with the client where/when applicable
• Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition
