Concentra in Ocala, FL is seeking a Medical Director to blend patient care with management, leading a clinic team and collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in the state of practice.
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license prior to start date.
• Eligibility to participate in Medicare.
• Board certification or eligibility preferred (ABMS/AOA).
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and lead by example to ensure outstanding patient experience.
• Lead healthcare management to ensure daily execution of medical model with the center leadership team.
• Manage clinicians and support staff while complying with APC supervisory requirements.
• Create a professional, collaborative working environment.
• Identify changes to sustain continuous medical clinic improvements.
• Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
• Oversee staffing levels with clinic leadership and promote Concentra values.

Responsibilities

• This clinic-based position provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
• Provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
• Manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements
• Creates a professional and collaborative working environment
• Works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement
• Maintains relationships with center clients and payers
• Works with medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
• Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain
