Job summary

Banner Health, in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department, is seeking a per diem BC Physician in Occupational Medicine or related fields to provide clinical occupational health services. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment of occupational injuries, and specialty examinations for patients, employers, and payors.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, DOT, ACLS, and BLS certifications, and are committed to supporting Banner Health’s Occupational Health Services in a per diem

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Occupational Medicine or related fields.
• DOT certifications upon hire or within one year.
• ACLS and BLS certification or obtain certification within 6 months.
• Per Diem employment (not 1099).
• 1–3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical occupational health services and manage evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Perform specialty examinations as part of Banner Occupational Health Services.
• Coordinate care with employers and payors as needed.

BANNER HEALTH, one of the countrys premier non-profit health systems, is seeking a BC Physician in either Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health, for a per diem Occupational Medicine position in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The main focus of this position is to serve as a consultant for the team, assisting with Cardiac Imaging requests.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced BC Occupational Medicine Physician to join our highly engaged team! Our Occupational Health physician will perform clinical Occupational Health Services, demonstrating competence in the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations provided to patients, employers, and payors associated with Banner Occupational Health Services.

Position Details:

• BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• DOT Certifications upon hire or within one year of hire date
• ACLS and BLS certified or obtain certification with-in 6 months of employment
• Per Diem (employed position not 1099 eligible)
