Job summary

Banner Health, in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department, seeks a BC Physician in Occupational Medicine for a per diem role. The position focuses on consulting for the team and supporting cardiac imaging requests, with responsibilities in clinical Occupational Health Services.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, DOT certifications on hire or within a year, and ACLS/BLS certification (or within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Board certification in Occupational Medicine or closely related field.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred in occupational health.
• DOT certifications on hire or within 12 months of hire date.
• ACLS and BLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical Occupational Health services and evaluation/treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Perform specialty examinations and support Cardiac Imaging requests for Banner Occupational Health.
• Serve as a consultant to the Phoenix Fire Department team in the per diem Occupational Medicine program.

BANNER HEALTH, one of the countrys premier non-profit health systems, is seeking a BC Physician in either Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health, for a per diem Occupational Medicine position in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The main focus of this position is to serve as a consultant for the team, assisting with Cardiac Imaging requests.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced BC Occupational Medicine Physician to join our highly engaged team! Our Occupational Health physician will perform clinical Occupational Health Services, demonstrating competence in the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations provided to patients, employers, and payors associated with Banner Occupational Health Services.

Position Details:

• BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• DOT Certifications upon hire or within one year of hire date
• ACLS and BLS certified or obtain certification with-in 6 months of employment
• Per Diem (employed position not 1099 eligible)
