Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix partners with the Phoenix Fire Department to offer a per diem Physician-Occupational Medicine role. The successful candidate will provide clinical Occupational Health Services and support cardiac imaging requests as a consulting physician to the team.

We seek a Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician with 1–3 years of experience, DOT and ACLS/BLS credentials, and willingness to work per diem under Banner Health’s occupational health program.

Qualifications

• BC in Occupational Medicineacunes medical field.
• 1–3 years experience preferred.
• DOT Certifications upon hire or within one year of hire date.
• ACLS and BLS certified or obtain certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical Occupational Health Services and related examinations.
• Serve as consultant for the team, assisting with Cardiac Imaging requests.
• Provide occupational health services to patients, employers, and payors.

BANNER HEALTH, one of the countrys premier non-profit health systems, is seeking a BC Physician in either Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health, for a per diem Occupational Medicine position in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The main focus of this position is to serve as a consultant for the team, assisting with Cardiac Imaging requests.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced BC Occupational Medicine Physician to join our highly engaged team! Our Occupational Health physician will perform clinical Occupational Health Services, demonstrating competence in the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations provided to patients, employers, and payors associated with Banner Occupational Health Services.

Position Details:

• BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• DOT Certifications upon hire or within one year of hire date
• ACLS and BLS certified or obtain certification with-in 6 months of employment
• Per Diem (employed position not 1099 eligible)
