Job description

Crestwood Medical Center is seeking a BC / BE OBGYN to join a dynamic two-physician practice that is rapidly growing in the heart of Huntsville's Medical District.

Alabama Women's Wellness Center, P.C. is a premier obstetrics & gynecology practice offering minimally invasive surgery, advanced laparoscopy, infertility treatments, preventative health maintenance, contraceptive counseling, and obstetrical care.

1. Salary Subsidy - Single Specialty Group
2. Traditional mix of inpatient and outpatient work
3. Join 2 MDs, 1 NP, and 2 CNMs
4. Responsibilities include both OB and GYN, with major and minor GYN procedures including laparoscopic
5. Willingness to work with midwives, trainees, and residents (student NPs, residents, midwifery from Vanderbilt, UAB, and Frontier) is required
6. Half days on Fridays when on call
7. Surgery day is Wednesday
8. Low C-section practice, high OB
9. ER (Inpatient) coverage schedule - 3 days a month unattached (rare)
10. Practice call ratio 1:3
11. Two offices located 5 miles apart (Downtown Huntsville and Jones Valley)
