+ Specialty: Ob/Gyn
+ Schedule: Four days of office and one weekday off per week
+ Call Schedule: 1:5, one weekday per week and every 5th weekend
+ Practice Detail: Join Ascension Medical Group Ob/Gyn team and practice with 4 very experienced physicians and 1 Nurse Midwife
+ EMR System: Athena and Cerner
+ Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center
+ Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
+ Salary: $326,640.00 - $389,394.00

Responsibilities
Ascension Illinois is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Ob/Gyn physician for our Ob/Gyn Department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Illinois to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:

+ 24/7 Ob hospitalist coverage
+ Clinic is attached to hospital in medical office building
+ Physician may have clinic hours at a partner FQHC in the area
+ 24/7 Neonatology in house
+ Level II plus Perinatal Center
+ Beautiful private rooms
+ Access to several pediatric sub-specialists
Responsibilities:
+ Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
+ Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
+ Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
+ Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
+ Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
+ Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
+ Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
