Job description

The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board-certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist.

Inova seeks an experienced, board-certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work full-time at its outpatient office in our Eastern Region, with inpatient rounding at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This physician will develop a growing clinical practice, increasing volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center, and will take call at both locations.

Inova Non-Invasive Program Highlights:

1. Inpatient coverage at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospitals with APP support.
2. Opportunities to cover inpatient, CCU, and echo services at Fairfax Hospital.
3. Outpatient imaging responsibilities: 2-3 reading days per month, 15-20 echos, and 5 nuclear studies per day.
4. Call: approximately 10 weekends per year and 2-3 weeknight call coverages per month.
5. Opportunity for research and education with the Cardiology Fellowship Program.

Qualified Candidates:
