Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a Cardiologist in Westminster, MD, to join a large regional health system with comprehensive cardiac services. The role features a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient non-invasive cardiology, with on-site TAVR, high-risk PCI, advanced EP, and vascular surgery offerings.

Typically Monday–Friday with shared call approximately 1:5 weekends. Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease is required, with echocardiography (TEE) and nuclear cardiology

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (required).
• Experience or training in echocardiography, including TEE, and nuclear cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix of outpatient and inpatient non-invasive cardiology responsibilities.
• APP support provided for shared cardiology call coverage.
• Onsite TAVR, high-risk PCI, advanced EP, cardiac and vascular surgery services.
• Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and cardiovascular program development.
• Monday - Friday schedule with shared call approximately 1:5 weekends.

Come practice in Westminster, a quaint Baltimore suburb located in picturesque Carroll County. The town sits only 35 miles from Baltimore and 55 miles from Washington, DC, but despite its recent growth, it still maintains a small-town charm.

• Monday - Friday schedule with shared call approximately 1:5 weekends
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient non-invasive cardiology responsibilities
• APP support provided for shared cardiology call coverage
• Onsite TAVR, high-risk PCI, advanced EP, cardiac and vascular surgery services
• Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and cardiovascular program development
• Large regional health system serving over 1 million patients annually
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease required; new graduates encouraged
• Experience or training in echocardiography, including TEE, and nuclear cardiology preferred

Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
