The Department of Neuroradiology at the West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute seeks a Neuroradiologist (positions available at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.
Duties : Besides providing excellent patient care, the candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications : Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, be eligible for state medical licensure, have completed radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship, and be ABR eligible/certified and Neuroradiology CAQ eligible/certified. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The WVU Neuroradiology Department is a pioneering initiative, integrating neurological care, research, and education. It offers advanced neuroimaging services from diagnosis to neuroimaging-guided brain therapies and manages a large MRI operation, providing consultation across the health system.
The department's analytics and informatics division leads initiatives in AI and federated research, aiming to transform multicenter collaboration, clinical trials, and big data utilization to enhance patient care.
Our Neurointerventional program is nationally recognized for state-of-the-art management of cerebrovascular disorders and stroke, leading in minimally invasive treatments through innovative clinical trials.
We offer two accredited fellowships: a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship (ACGME) and an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship (CAST).
The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 faculty dedicated to compassionate care, education, and research in neurological and psychiatric conditions, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, stroke, paralysis, pain, addiction, and traumatic brain injury.
