Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks a Neurologist to join our neuroscience team. You will provide outpatient care and inpatient consults in a physician-led, integrated health system serving the Fargo-Moorhead community and surrounding region.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in Neurology.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient neurology care.
• Interest in movement disorders or multiple sclerosis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care as well as inpatient consults in attached inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with neurology team and APPs to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in sleep medicine opportunities within the neurosciences program.
• Join an integrated team with access to EMG and neurodiagnostic support.
• 1:4 call rotation and on-site ancillary services available.
• Contribute to a comprehensive stroke certified hospital environment.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

We are seeking a determined and dedicated Neurologist to join our neuroscience team in Fargo, ND. This individual will partner with a mix of devoted Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians to provide exceptional patient-focused care to the community of Fargo/Moorhead and its greater region. If you are seeking variety in your practice, and the opportunity to work with a committed team of trusted practitioners, this is the position for you.

• New 28-bed ICU, New ED with 25 exam rooms and 2 trauma bays, New state of art high-tech imaging with ongoing renovation and expansion to meet growing community needs
• Join an established practice of 3 Adult Neurologists and 1 Pediatric Neurologist in a physician led, integrated health system
• Provide outpatient care as well as inpatient consults in attached inpatient setting
• Opportunity to practice with integrated neurosciences team and outpatient sleep medicine
• Looking for Neurologists with interest or subspecialty in movement disorder and multiple sclerosis.
• Practice supported by EMG’s, Electroneurodiagnostics, digital EEG/video evoked potential equipment, intraoperative monitoring
• 1:4 call rotation
• On-site ancillary services include: pharmacy, infusion, ER and diagnostic services including lab, X-ray, CT and MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry
• We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
• Comprehensive Stroke Certified Hospital Through DNV with Interventional Neuro component

• 4 hours Northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals
• Fargo-Moorhead population: 225,000.

COMPENSATION

• $380,000 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
