JOB SUMMARY
Central Health is looking for a skilled neurologist to join their expanding team and provide care to the underserved community in Travis County.
The role involves providing direct patient care and overseeing and interpreting EEGs/EMGs.Additionally, the neurologist will also complete e-consults and e-reviews in an outpatient clinic setting as required.
In this position, the neurologist will help design clinical workflows to improve access to care, support evidence-based practice and improve efficiency.This role will serve as both an attending to learners at various levels and may supervise advanced practice providers.
As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, the neurologist will collaborate closely with the patient to jointly improve their quality of life.This is a full-time outpatient clinical role that involves direct clinical sessions, divided between ambulatory visits, e-consults/reviews, and the conduction of EEGs/EMGs.Ten percent of clinical time is allocated to administrative tasks.
