Job summary

Central Health in Travis County, TX is seeking a skilled neurologist to join our expanding team, providing direct patient care and overseeing EEGs/EMGs in an outpatient clinic setting. The role includes completing e-consults and e-reviews as required, and designing workflows to improve access to care and efficiency.

The neurologist will participate in teaching and supervision of learners, collaborate with clinical leaders, and contribute to a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Neurology.
• Experience providing neurology care in outpatient settings.
• Leadership or mentorship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurology consultations, EEG/EMG procedures, and e-consults in outpatient clinics.
• Order tests and imaging to evaluate patient conditions.
• Diagnose and treat neurological diseases based on history and exam.
• Prescribe medications and referrals for treatment and prevention.
• Supervise advanced practice providers as needed.
• Help design clinical workflows to improve access and efficiency.
