Rush University Medical Center in Chicago invites applications for the position of Interventional Movement Disorders Clinical Faculty.

The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Rush is expanding its Interventional Movement Disorder Program, which manages therapies such as Deep Brain Stimulation, Infusion therapies, and MRI-guided focused ultrasound. We seek an Assistant Professor to join twelve other specialists focused on Patient Care, Research, and Education. The team includes neurologists, physician assistants, a neurosurgeon, and a nurse practitioner across three campuses.

Applicants should have a clinical and research interest in deep brain stimulation, focused ultrasound, and therapies for advanced disease states. Secondary interests in genetics, cognition, neuropsychiatry, physiology, imaging, or basic science are encouraged. The role is primarily clinical, with opportunities for research and educational initiatives.

Candidates must have completed a fellowship, be Board Certified in Neurology, and be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher. A strong commitment to patient care, education, and research is essential. The program serves approximately 6,000 patients annually and includes fellows, students, and other healthcare professionals.
