Job Summary

Physicians provide comprehensive care for the appropriate patient population, including diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses across body systems. They utilize diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to treat patients through medication and hospitalization. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing healthcare services aligned with St. Luke’s mission, The Patient Above All Else. Physicians prescribe appropriate procedures, medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to aid recovery, prevent future health issues, and promote healthier lives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Experience: Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship program.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current or pending license in Minnesota and/or WI; DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing; Board eligible or certified in the appropriate specialty.
