City of Hope, Upland provides the community with unparalleled care and innovative cancer treatments closer to home.

The Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty with experience in diagnosing and treating both cancer and blood disorders, to join our established practice in the Inland Empire, Southern California.

This position offers a rare opportunity to work in a 475+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in Southern California. City of Hope is expanding in both patient volume and infrastructure, investing in clinical, academic, and research facilities.

Highlights / Primary Responsibilities

• When fully staffed, the Upland practice will include a total of 17 providers:
• 5 medical oncologists and 4 APPs
• 6 surgeons (including surgical oncologists for breast, melanoma, sarcoma, GI, hepatopancreatic biliary, colorectal, gynecologic, and urologic cancers)
• 1 palliative care physician
• Effort allocation: 95% clinical, with potential involvement in all phases of clinical trials
• Cover one clinic location

Pay & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $400-525k (commensurate with academic rank)
• Salary does not include incentive compensation or benefits; actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors
