Aultman Health System in Northeast Ohio seeks a Physician to join the AultWorks Occupational Medicine team as Medical Director. The role combines clinical occupational medicine with leadership and program direction to promote high-quality, cost-effective care.

Responsibilities include overseeing injury care, compliance with workplace regulations, policy development, and ongoing quality improvement. Flexible daytime hours with a generous benefit package and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in the State of Ohio with board certification requirements and privileges.
• Experience in occupational medicine, emergency/urgent care, family or internal medicine preferred.
• Ability to provide medical direction and lead an occupational medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical occupational medicine services and injury care with a focus on oversight and education of APPs.
• Provide medical direction and leadership for the AultWorks Occupational Medicine program.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOL, EPA, Ohio BWC, EEOC, ADA and FMLA regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the occupational medicine program.
• Balance administrative duties (approx. 70%) with clinical responsibilities (approx. 30%).

Physician/ Medical Director in Occupational Medicine needed in NE Ohio

With multiple clinic locations in Canton and surrounding areas, AultWorks specializes in injury care, worksite health services, pre-placement exams, and return-to-work programs.

We are seeking a physician to join our Occupational Medicine team at Aultworks. This candidate would function as both a provider and leader of the practice as the Medical Director. The Medical Director is responsible for providing leadership, medical direction, and guidance to the Aultworks Occupational Medicine program while promoting quality and cost-effective medical care at all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver clinical occupational medicine services and injury care for employers and their employees. Clinic time will mainly focus on oversight and education of APP’s
• Ensure compliance and working knowledge of the regulations governing the workplace, including those issued by OSHA, DOL, EPA, Ohio BWC, and EEOC, in addition to applicable laws such as the ADA and FMLA.

• Role will be roughly 70% administrative & 30% clinical
