Physician/Medical Director Position Summary:

Enjoy the flexibility of community-based work at Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities, leading a team of Advanced Practice Providers and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Podiatry, and Wound Care (where available).

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide primary-care services per site-specific protocols, aligned with standards for family medicine, geriatric, and internal medicine in long-term care settings
• Review and sign MARs, orders, and labs within specified timeframes
• Manage medication prescriptions specific to your facility’s patients and specialty
• Allocate adequate time for paperwork and administrative duties during visits
• Participate in care plan and QA/PI meetings as requested
• Be available between 8AM and 5PM on scheduled days via text or phone, with triage policies supported by the ECare team
• Document and bill according to schedules
• Maintain open communication with facility staff and administration, providing instructions and feedback
• Meet with facility care coordinators daily
• Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, and all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and CPT coding

Qualifications/Education:

• Licensed MD or DO
• 3+ years in Long Term Care/Geriatric Care preferred
• AMDA Certification a plus
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
