SSM Health is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our Urgent Care team at Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages with acute and urgent health issues, in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, diagnosing acute illnesses, creating treatment plans, and educating patients. The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams and flexibility in schedule, including evenings,

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for all patients
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies as appropriate
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Urgent Care schedule 15–20-minute visits 8 am - 8 pm
• The position involves direct patient contact and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the clinic for extended periods
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the urgent care needs of patients
