Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our Urgent Care team at the Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. You will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages with acute and urgent health issues in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires clinical expertise, strong communication, and commitment to patient-centered care. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine with applicable state licensure.
• Experience in urgent care or high-volume primary care preferred.
• Ability to manage diverse adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments across all ages for acute and urgent issues.
• Diagnose and treat a range of illnesses, injuries, and infections.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans including medications.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and prevention.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality outcomes.
• Provide efficient urgent care visits with 15–20 minute length during 8am–8pm.
• Maintain mobility within the clinic and adapt to a flexible schedule.

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine physician to join our Urgent Care team at our newest facility at the Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages with acute and urgent health issues. This role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for all patients
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies as appropriate
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Urgent Care schedule 15–20-minute visits 8 am - 8 pm
• The position involves direct patient contact and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the clinic for extended periods
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the urgent care needs of patients
