Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a 3rd highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join a 100% IR, collegial practice at St. Mary’s Medical Center. The role offers two dedicated angio suites, access to CT Fluoro, and a Level I Trauma Center with a strong support team.

Required are BC/BE in Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology, with responsibilities spanning embolization, biopsies, drains, UFE, PAE, venous access, and vertebral augmentation. 1 FTE, day/night rotation.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Radiology is required.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IR procedures including embolization, Y90, and ablation.
• Conduct US and CT biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Provide venous access and dialysis access maintenance.
• Support high-volume, 100% IR, collegial practice with dedicated staff.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• We are looking for a 3rd highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologist who is passionate about patient care and committed to excellence, to join a 100% IR, collegial practice
• 2 dedicated Angio suites, one containing CT Fluoro, both installed in 2023
• Access to two biplane Angio suites located within the same procedural area
• Level I Trauma Center
• ADC: Expect 6-10 daily procedures per provider
• Support staff: Two full-time Physician Assistants, Dedicated IR nursing, VIR Certified Technologists and administrativesupport
• IR procedures:All IR capabilities including Interventional Oncology (embolization, Y90, ablation), US and CT biopsies and drains, UFE, PAE, venous access, and Dialysis Access Maintenance. Vertebral augmentation.

COMPENSATION

• $ 615,536 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
