Job summary

CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, LA seeks an Interventional Radiologist specialized in Interventional Oncology to lead and advance a comprehensive program. You will perform advanced image-guided therapies, including tumor ablation and embolization, while collaborating with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology teams.

The ideal candidate has an IR fellowship and a strong interest in interventional oncology, with licensure eligibility in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (preferred).
• Demonstrated interest in Interventional Oncology and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Interventional Oncology program.
• Perform a broad range of image-guided procedures, including tumor ablation and embolization therapies.
• Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, hepatology, and tumor boards.
• Access modern imaging technology and procedural resources.
• Participate in program development, clinical innovation, and physician leadership initiatives.
• Support a strong referral network across the Ark-La-Tex region.
