Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in the Greater Austin region seeks a BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to develop and expand interventional radiology services. You will join a growing division supporting multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities in the Austin metro area, with on-site coverage and an outpatient IR clinic.

The role includes participation in interventional oncology, endovascular procedures, UFE, and PAE, with 2 APPs supporting the service.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Board certification in their specialty or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand interventional radiology services.
  • Join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists across multiple facilities.
  • Provide on-site coverage for hospitals in the region and participate in outpatient IR clinic activities.
  • Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required.

Baylor Scott and White Health in Greater Austin Region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to develop and expand interventional radiology services.

Practice Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health in the greater Austin, TX region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to join a well-established team for further expansion. The candidate would join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting four hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area. Current interventional radiology work includes the full spectrum of interventional radiology including interventional oncology, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures, UFE, PAE. The preferred candidate will also help grow additional service lines. On-site coverage is provided to multiple hospitals throughout the region. Outpatient IR clinic services are provided at all covered facilities. Service is additionally supported by 2 APPs. Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required.
