Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Florida is seeking a compassionate physician specialized in pain medicine to join our growing outpatient interventional practice. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pain, and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.

The role involves performing interventional procedures such as epidural injections, facet injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and educating

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution with completed pain medicine fellowship.
• Board certified or eligible in Pain Medicine, with eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
• Experience with interventional procedures; neuromodulation experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and peripheral nerve blocks.
• Manage candidates for advanced therapies including spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term pain management strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and stay current with advances in pain medicine.
