Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a locum Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient coverage in Kentucky. The role includes 24-hour on-call shifts (7am–7am) with interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty and PCI.

Board-certified physicians with an active Kentucky license and ACLS are preferred; DEA registration is required. Coverage dates are intermittent (3–7 days per month) with travel lodging support noted.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in cardiology or interventional cardiology.
• ACLS certification.
• Active Kentucky medical license with DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Respond to hospital cardiology calls and provide inpatient coverage.
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures as needed during coverage (PCI, angioplasty, echocardiography not specified).
• Cover EMTALA-call shifts and participate in 24-hour on-call rotations.

Description:Looking to add locum Interventional Cardiologist coverage.

Dates of Coverage:

• November 23-26
• December 1-4
• December 29 - January 1

Job Details:Availability of 3-7 days per month.Practice setting is inpatient/EMTALA call.No ambulatory work involved.There are 2 Interventional Cardiologists in the group.Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during coverage.Patient age demographic includes adult patients.Documentation system is Epic Cupid.

Required procedures include:

• Balloon Angioplasties
• Coronary Angioplasty
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Heart Catheterization
• Coronary Angiograms

General Cardiology responsibilities include:Expected to respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.General cardiology consults as needed.Reading studies includes EKG, ECHOS, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).

• Travel reimbursement information:Lodging is approximately $150 per night.All other bookings approved for standard/economy rates.
